Beautiful adult cat blue grey

This is a very special adult neutered male cat. He is pure grey/blue, quite rare here. He is very friendly. He was dumped at the Monastory. Obviously been someone's much loved pet. The reason he was dumped is because he has a chronic problem. He keeps sneezing. He has been treated on anti biotics and although things improve when he is on treatment he is vulnerable to repeat problems. We have him in our pens at present and we would like someone who would offer him a foster home. Parc will be fully responsible for this cat. We will pay for any Veterinary treatment that he needs. We just want someone who will give him the love he deserves. He cant stay at the Monastory because he will be more vulnerable amongst so many cats. He preferably needs a home with no other cats and ideally a couple or a single person who understands his problems and appreciates his needs. He is a cat with a lot of love to give. Please please consider this dear cat and give us a call.Picture to follow soon.

Puppy stolen!

The owner of the bitch that birthed my beautiful goldie puppies pictured below had decided to keep the smallest puppy themselves. They are really good people and I was very happy for them and the puppy. Sadly I have just heard that someone has stolen the puppy and the family are devastated. I am awaiting a picture of him which I will upload as soon as I receive one but if you know anyone who has acquired a very tiny golden coloured boy puppy with a curly coat please contact me as I am determined to find this puppy and return him to his owners. He was stolen from their garden which is situated in Peyia Village. He was with his mother when he was taken. Please help us find him.

Little dog that was saved.

Most of you will know about the little dog found at the bottom of a main drain. He had been there for over a week and was starving when rescued. We treated him for parasites and then had him Vet checked before handing him over to his new loving owners. He has settled in really well and they are thrilled with the little man. I just wanted to say that none of this could have happened if Linda and George hadn't offered to foster him for Parc. We are always desparate for foster homes. We are not a shelter and without good people offering to hold our dogs we simply cannot help and we have to advise to take them to the shelters.
Many times we only need someone to hold them for a week or two. Sometimes they have already got a home but we cannot fly them out of Cyprus until a flight is available. Parc work very closely with Cydra and Paws. We are fortunate to have a very good working relationship with these organisations and we are very grateful for the help we receive from them. Working together means we can save many more animals.
If you can offer a foster home to either a dog, cat, puppy or kitten then please get in touch. My sincere thanks to everyone who support Parc with practical or financial help. Ruth

This is Lucky. We saved her life.

This is Lucky. She was dumped at the Monastory. She was very sick and had to stay in my bedroom for 3 weeks. With a lot of tender love and care she made a good recovery and Tina and John offered her a forever home. I am sure you would agree she looks stunning now. Dr. Maria and I worked very hard to save this little one. Parc will never ever put a healthy animal to sleep and we will always pay for treatment for a sick or injured animal. When you look at the picture of Lucky you will appreciate why we do what we do. Lucky is a beautiful much loved cat we wish her and her owners a long and happy life.

very small puppies

Puppies are 3 weeks old. Their mother (pictured) is a pedigree pincher, father unknown but we believe the puppies will be similar to their mother. Obviously they are too small for homing yet but if you would like to reserve one please text Ruth on 99961157 to make an appointment to see them. Clearly these puppies are much loved babies and are receiving the best of care from their mum and their humans. They will make super pets.

Thank you to our foster carers and new volunteers.

I am delighted to say that we have been blessed recently. Fiona, Joan, Mo and Connie have all offered to help us with our feeding programme. This has been a great help as it allows Pam and I more time to concentrate on our trap neuter and release programme. Fiona also helped out on Sunday when we had a very sick kitten that needed to go to our Veterinary. This kind of help is fantastic. Our small group of volunteers have struggled for so long and we are delighted to welcome more people on board. A big thank you to all four of you. If you live in Peyia/Coral Bay area, have transport and would be willing to give up an hour or two a week to help Parc then please send a text to 99961157 and we will call you back.
I also want to say thank you to Mel and Dave and their lovely children for offering to foster the two gorgeous puppies (pictured below). We are always desparate for foster carers. Quite often we only need help in the short term as many of our animals have homes promised but they are just waiting for flights. So if you can offer a home to a puppy or a dog get in touch with me. Thanks also to all our supporters old and new you are invaluable to Parc.

'Star' is homed in Germany!

3 weeks ago a tiny 4 week old puppy was found at the side of the road in Paphos. Obviously dumped because there was no where it could have come from. Some people who had taken kittens from me called me and I agreed to provide all Veterinary care for this puppy and they agreed to foster it until we could find a home. I took pictures and called my friend and colleague Eve who runs Cydra ( jointly we find homes for dogs and sometimes cats in Germany). All the homes are vetted by an organisation we trust and work with over there. They hadnt had any offer of a home for the puppy (we called her Star) but they said they had a foster home and as we were going to have to move her to a new foster home here because the foster families daughter was getting to attached, we decided to send her to a foster home in Germany. She flew there today and to our amazement she has been homed already. I have just e mailed Eve and said there must have been some divine intervention and what a co incidence that I called her Star. How lucky can a little puppy be? She was filthy and full of sores when she was picked up. Our Veterinary said she had been kept somewhere very dirty indeed and the sores would heal now she was receiving good food and parasite treatment. I dont believe it! I think that puppy was sent from heaven. How lucky can you get? Being found at the side of a road in Paphos by people who knew Parc and then sent to Germany via Cydra and then homed by our German friends. Angels were definitely involved in her no wonder we called her Star. Must be more than co incidence. Simply amazing! Our best wishes to Star and her new family in Germany.
I have to say the foster family have had 2 kittens and 1 older cat from me. The work goes on by Parc, Cydra and our German friends.
