Two more lovely adult cats need a home.

Ginger is 2 years old and black and white is 3 years. Their owners are returning to UK in the next 2 weeks and are keen to find a home for them. Both friendly, vaccinated etc. Call if you can help please.

This is Babe

As you can see she is very tiny and simply loves the children. She is a Jack Russell x that looks a bit like a little piggy or a lamb hence her name. She is 8 weeks old and has had her first vaccine. She will only be a small dog so will be fine for an apartment. She is very well behaved and only barks when she sees other dogs or cats but is quiet at other times. She has a foster home for one week after which she will have to go to the refuge (if they have room for her).
Please try and help this dear little girl.
We thought we had a home for Babe but the Landlord said she could not stay so she is still available please help her she is a real character.
GREAT NEWS BABE HAS BEEN OFFERED ANOTHER HOME IN GERMANY SHE WILL GO ON THE 14TH AUGUST. WE WISH HER WELL AND THANK LINDA HER FOSTER CARER FOR TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF HER. OUR THANKS ALSO TO CYDRA (CYPRUS DOGS REHOMING ASSOCIATION) FOR HELPING US TO FIND A HOME IN GERMANY.

Bailey has got a home!!!

I am delighted to say Bailey has been offered a forever home in Germany. He is probably one of my favourite dogs (of course I love them all!)but he is a very special character and he has been fostered by my neighbours so I have seen him every day. I desperately wanted him to go to a home in Germany because he really struggles with the heat in Cyprus. The couple who have chosen him have no other animals and it is clear he will be given the tender love and care that he expects. We need a flight for him so not sure when he will be leaving Cyprus but hopefully not too long. Incidentally we need travel boxes as we are now exporting lots of animals so if you know of anyone who has one to spare please put them in touch with us. Also, if anyone is taking a flight to Germany they can reduce our costs considerably by taking a dog for us. There is no handling it simply means that we can book them on your ticket and they travel as extra luggage which of course we will pay for. A long shot but you never know with all the people who read the website now.
Many thanks, Ruth

Scavenger Hunt Results.

The Scavenger Hunt was a huge success. Many thanks to Steve and Teresa for doing a great job organising the event and working out all those excellent clues that had us beat. We all had a great day. Thanks also to Holly's Restaurant (David Elaine and the boys) who did a superb lunch at a low price which meant that a lot of the money came to Parc. Also thanks to Atlantic Insurance for sponsoring the event. We raised an incredible 370 euros. We hope to have another one when the weather cools down.

Poor little puppy!

I took the tiny puppy to Dr. Maria this morning. We had finally managed to get rid of most of the ticks on her. Sadly, her blood is so thin where the creatures had sucked her she is in a bad way. Dr. Maria as usual took her time and showed her great kindness. She is receiving the best treatment and the best food. Without doubt she would have died if she had been left over the weekend. She is a little Jack Russell x for sure but has a funny little face which looks like a little piggy so of course we have called her Babe. She will receive intensive care for the next week and then we will need a forever home for her. She is white with one tiny patch over her eye. Very small but has a big character. She has a strong will so will be a real fun dog when she grows. If you want to meet this incredible little puppy call me between 9am and 1pm on 99961157 thank you.

From feral dog to this in one easy step!

Some of you may remember JOJO. He lived rough for many months while a kind person got his trust. She contacted Parc and we vaccinated him, provided him with a bed and eventually neutered and registered him. He went to a wonderful foster carer and then found a splendid forever home. He is normally running and jumping in the Countryside but on this occasion he was doing a bit of sunbathing beside his pool.
We love you JOJO you make this job worthwhile. And so do your fantastic humans who clearly put your needs above their own.

Just too busy!

Hi everyone, it has been a really bad few weeks. We have been so busy it is hard to keep up with everything and computer work is coming low on the priorites which is a shame because I need to keep people informed and also need to keep you updated on the animals that we have treated, found homes for, and those that are still waiting.
Firstly, we have a 7 week old kitten in the clinic at present. She was knocked down by a car. Thankfully a supporter of Parc saw it and acted quickly. She now has a shorter tail than normal, a bit of a limp and an ulcerated eye (which will heal in time). She was pretty angry when we first got her but she has turned into a real sweety and will be ready to go to a home in a week or two.
We have homed lots of cats and kittens over the past month but we still have lots of babies that need either homes or sponsors.
We have taken in 2 young puppies in the past week and homed them both before I could get a picture on the webpage for you. I have now just agreed to help another 4 week old puppy. Came to us last night absolutely covered in ticks (foster carer thought she had black ears until she removed the ticks). She will need a home soon.
It is important to remember that every kitten, cat, puppy or dog that comes to Parc is full vaccinated if they are old enough and well enough. This does cost a tremendous amount of money but is vitally important.
A big thank you to all the people who sponsor our animals we simply cannot manage without your help.
Sadly we sometimes have to say we can't take in unwanted kittens. This week we had 3 x two week old kittens dumped in a box at Phillipos Supermarket. They are much too young to be taken from their mother but we are trying to bottle feed them (well actually Clare from Cozy Catz Cattery is feeding them) Thank you Clare it is a time consuming task and we appreciate your help very much. Although we always try to help tiny babies we cannot take all six/seven week old kittens and therefore some referrers are disappointed and perhaps disiullusioned with Parc. I have to remind people that we are a small organisation doing our very best to help sick and injured homeless animals but the healthy free ferals have to survive. We do try, we work very hard but there are only a few of us and our resources are limited. If you want to offer to help Parc either by making a donation or fostering one of our animals then please contact us. Thank you.

Cats and kittens

Sadly we have so many cats and kittens that need homes we have had to say we cannot take any more in at present. We now have 19 kittens that need homes. We have them in our pens, in foster homes, at Dr. Maria's at Cozy Catz Cattery and at Ann's house. We are very grateful to the people who have offered homes to our mothers and babies (Rosemary, Kelly, Aran and many more) but until we can home some more we simply cannot take on any more. I have just agreed to offer support to two more kitten groups but they will have to stay where they are for the time being. However, this means that we will still have them vet checked and vaccinated so there is a huge financial commitment from Parc.
If you cannot offer a home to any of our babies will you please consider sponsoring one or two of them? I appreciate the fact that times are hard for us all and hate to go round with the begging bowl but if there is anyone out there that is in a position to help us then please please get in touch.
A special thank you to Roy and Jen who have just stayed at Coral Beach Hotel and kindly made a very generous donation to Parc. They are very special people who are committed to helping us help the homeless creatures. Also thanks to Animal Affairs charity shop in Bristol. Roy and Jen work there and have ensured that Parc receive regular donations. The support we receive from Roy, Jen and Barry means that we can help many cats kittens, puppies and dogs. A million thanks to everyone in Bristol.
Thanks also to RoseAnne Tony and Suzanne (Lake District) for their continued support. They stay regularly at Coral Beach Hotel and have helped us in so many ways over the past three years. Here at Parc we value each one of you very much.
