Burns Night Fantastic result.

Many thanks to everyone who made our Burns night so successful. Rob and Rita kicked it off and worked hard to find people to help with the cost as well as organising the event at Coral King Restaurant. Rock FM advertised the event for us, Weathershield kindly sponsored the piper and their Directors came along to the evening and supported us, even organising an auction which raised 220 euros.
An incredible 1500 euros was raised. The place was buzzing! Coral King provided excellent food, The Scottish Piper was great, Wicked Willie played good dance music and most of all so many of you joined us. A really good night enjoyed by all. A million thanks, the 1500 euros pays a whole months Veterinary bills for Parc and helps us to help homeless sick and injured animals.

Mink and White young cat.

This dear cat is about 6 months old. Very friendly indeed. She has been spayed and vaccinated. She has been dumped at Coral Beach Hotel. We would love to find her a good home. She is surviving at the hotel but she clearly wants a cosy home. Telephone Ruth on 99961157 if you can take an older cat.

pictures of puppies (see story below)

Three puppies are now homed only one left plus mummy. The one left is a lovely fluffy white boy. To see him give us a call.

Two four week old puppies coming up soon.

Two beautiful little boys will need a home in the near future. They are being fostered by a lovely couple who are returning to UK. They are still with their birth mother but she was unable to feed them so these wonderful foster carers have hand reared 8 puppies. They are all very healthy fat puppies now that will be ready to go to new homes in about 3 weeks time. Their mother is small (she can be seen) father is obviously unknown but we believe the babies will be little dogs. For more information telephone Ruth on 99961157 Pictures to follow.

Kittens and cats being dumped!

We have been aware for some time that people were returning to UK but it has now become something of a flood. Last week we were asked to foster 2 kittens we had homed just a month previously. Their owners said they had to go back urgently for a week or two because of a sick relative. Of course we offered to help. Now we are being told the family had made arrangements for friends to sell their car and return the keys to the Villa to the owners. In other words they had no intentions of coming back. They left without even giving us the record books for the cats. This is not an isolated case. We are really hurting now. There is simply no way we can cope with these poor cats and dogs being abandoned all the time. We fully appreciate the economic climate is terrible but these are live creatures that deserve more. Two beautiful cats have appeared at the front of Coral Beach Hotel. Clearly they have been domestic cats, they are in lovely condition and very friendly. Two more dumped! What can we do? Meanwhile we continue to try and feed them (our feed bill is 150 euros per week) Surely that is the least we can do. Please please spare a thought for all the abandoned animals. If you are fortunate enough to be in employment and still have a reasonable standard of living then try and support us. We are having our Burns Night at Coral King Restaurant, Coral Bay on Sat 24th January tickets are 25 euros. Please buy a ticket if you can or donate a raffle prize we really do need help. Many thanks to those who have helped us. In particular thanks a million to Debbie from Posh Frocks. She very kindly offered a home to one of our older cats, gave us a generous donation and even donated a raffle prize. Thank you very much indeed Debbie and John.
