This is Phoebe the most loveable kitten you could find.

Phoebe was dumped at Coral Beach Hotel. She was found on her own surviving in the car park area. She is very friendly so she has definitely been someone's kitten. However she was so frightened and confused when we found her we had to trap her. She has been now been spayed and had her first vaccine. We are looking for a really good home for this gorgeous kitten. Please please come and see her. Anyone would love her.

A little bitch and her baby!

On Wednesday night I was called to the Akamas beach, Paphos. A little bitch had been tied to a tree miles from anywhere. Her lead had been fastened high off the ground so she could hardly move without strangling herself. Her gorgeous puppy was running free near her. There was one tiny bowl of water but no food. By the time I reached her she had been tethered for nearly 12 hours. The people who spotted her in the morning thought her owner had gone for a walk or a swim. No such luck. Clearly she had been abandoned to suffer whatever fate became her. She was very protective of her baby (she had clearly had more babies but we have no idea what became of them). Thankfully I was able to take her and baby to Dr. Maria where she was bathed and all fleas were removed. The next morning they were both vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. They have been fostered in a home in Limassol and are now available for re homing. If you can help please contact me. The mother is very well behaved, friendly and healthy. She is a small terrier type. The puppy is going to be small and clearly has a lovely temperament like his mother. They are both very good with other dogs.

Husky bitch and puppies

This is the lovely husky bitch that would have been put to sleep if Parc had not stepped in and saved her and four of her babies. We have homes for three of them only one puppy is available for the right person. They are perfect fat puppies now only two weeks old. Mother has a splendid character and she is really caring for her babies.

THE PUPPIES ARE NOW READY TO GO TO HOMES THERE ARE TWO AVAILABLE BOTH BOYS. PLEASE CONTACT US NOW.

Our puppies with their new owners in Germany

Our gorgeous puppies being collected by their new owners in Germany. Our special thanks to our foster parents who cared for these delightful puppies until they could fly to Germany. Chris and Glenda fostered Molly and Dr. Maria cared for Max and Sindy. Sadly Chris and Glenda have left Cyprus and returned to the UK. They will be sadly missed as they were very good supporters of Parc. We do of course wish them well.

Ruth is back!!!!!

Hi everyone. Two weeks in the UK and I come back to lots of work. First the good news. The little dog has now got a good home. Thank goodness for that. Before he was rescued he was tied to a tree and covered in fleas and ticks. At least his Cypriot owner had the decency to give him up.
Secondly our lovely puppies went to Germany and all three are now with their new owners. We all wish them well and thank Eve and Barbara for their help with these little ones.
While I was away the team agreed to take the Husky bitch and three of her puppies. They are now being fostered by Suzy and Nick (what would we do without you two?) The puppies are absolutely adorable. They are now three weeks old so will need homes in about six weeks. Good timing the weather will be cooler then so more people willing to take puppies we hope. We will also need a good home for the bitch. I believe she is pure Husky and the puppies are all husky type puppies. In the UK you would pay a thousand pounds plus for these dogs. A picture will be posted tomorrow.
Finally we have of course got kittens that need homes. We have two threee month old happy friendly kittens, one ginger female and one tabby and white male. Also we have two male tabby kittens that are about eight weeks old. Although we do not charge for kittens we are now asking people to help us with the costs incurred. This is because we are struggling badly to meet the cost of caring for the cats and dogs that have no owners so we do think it is reasonable to ask people who take an animal from us to cover the cost involved. If anyone cannot do this then we will discuss the situation with them and try and resolve the matter satisfactorily. First and foremost a good home for an animal is our first and last priority. If you want to see any of our babies you can telephone me on 99961157.

Kayak (canoe) for sale.

This fabulous Kayak (canoe) has been donated to Parc. There is a compartment in it for storage on the front of the kayak. In the sitting part of the boat there is a cushion. On the back of the kayak there is a net to keep things under. It is in very good condition it cost over 700 euros and we would like offers around 300 euros. Telephone 26332239 or 99961157 for more information or to view.

Dogs to Germany

We are pleased to advise that we are now working with Eve and Barbara who help dogs and puppies find a new home in Germany. Three of our puppies have secured lovely homes and will fly out on Monday. We wish them well.
Obviously there are cost implications which we all try and share ie the new owners, the organisation who export them and the people who are looking for homes. If you would like to support this venture we would appreciate a donation specifically for our Flying Fund.
People may ask why we need to do this. Firstly, there are far too many dogs in Cyprus and no where near enough good homes here. Also, many British are returning to UK and are either unwilling or unable to take their dogs with them. I have just had a referral this week. Some Brits are going back next Wednesday and if a home cannot be found for their dog they are putting her to sleep. She is pregnant so they will be killing her puppies too. She is a well behaved bitch, lived in a family home, housetrained and has no vices. Why kill this lovely dog? I only wish I had the answer. I have found a lovely couple who have agreed to foster her but they can only cope with one puppy so the others would need to be destroyed. I dont know why this is happening I only know it is. We at Parc are working tirelessly with few volunteers, little money, limited foster homes and struggling with endless referrals. Dogs to Germany is very helpful indeed but we do need more support in order to carry on this work. Please please think about sending us a donation. Every euro helps. Many thanks Ruth
