Poor old George!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? YES WE UNDERSTAND GEORGE HAS GOT A FOREVER HOME. THIS DEAR DOG WILL NOW HAVE SOME TENDER LOVING CARE. HE MUST THINK HE HAS DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN. WE WISH HIS AND HIS NEW OWNERS ALL THE BEST FOR A WONDERFUL FUTURE HE SURELY DESERVES IT.
----George----
We rescued George 2 weeks ago from behind the Azia Hotel near St George’s Hotel in Chloraka.
He was on the brink of death, severely emaciated, had a blocked bowel and was too weak to even climb a step. He must have been without food for months to get in such a state. With veterinary treatment and the dedication of a friend who gave him shelter and TLC he is well on the way to a full recovery.
He’s gentle and loving, despite the abuse, and will make a wonderful companion. Unfortunately, I cannot keep him myself as I’m in an apartment.
He appears to be mixed with maybe Labrador & Pointer about 2 and half years old, learns quickly and is now house-trained.
He will need to be neutered, micro-chipped & vaccinated which will be done through P.A.R.C. (Peyia Animal Re-homing Club) at a reduced rate.
Medically he is now fine but he needs LOTS of groceries and TLC to return him to the magnificent dog I’m sure he once was.
Please, can anyone help?
If you can, and would like to meet George,
please telephone Dee on 99264718

Cyprus money

Parc would appreciate any unwanted Cyprus cash. After the end of January you cannot spend Cyprus pounds or coins. If you have any you wish to donate you can send them to us in the post or take to Hearns bookshop Peyia or Dr. Maria's veterinary clinic at Lemba or Dr. Inna's clinic in Peyia or Paphos. Alternatively please telephone Ruth on 99961157. Perhaps you could organise a collection around your friends. Money donated will go towards building our new quarantine pens for sick cats. Many thanks Ruth

Tiny puppy found

This tiny puppy was found at the side of the road in Peyia on Thursday 10th January. If you know who owns him please contact us. He is very healthy and well cared for and we believe he is just a lost puppy. He loves people so has obviously been someone's pet.

He is being fostered and will remain in a foster home for one week to see if his owners can be traced, after this time he will be available for re homing.
WELL THE GOOD NEWS IS THIS LITTLE ONE HAS NOW GOT A FOREVER HOME. THE BAD NEWS IS IT IS HIS FOSTER CARERS THAT FIND THEY CAN'T PART WITH HIM AND WHILE WE ARE DELIGHTED TO KNOW HE IS GOING TO HAVE A LOVING HOME FOR LIFE WE DO LOSE AN EXCELLENT FOSTER CARER. IF YOU CAN HELP PARC BY FOSTERING DOGS OR CATS FOR US THEN PLEASE CONTACT RUTH. THANK YOU

This is Isla in her new home

THIS IS ISLA AS SHE IS NOW CALLED. SHE WAS THE SCRUFFY LOOKING LITTLE BITCH RESCUED BY ELIZABETH AND GIVEN SHELTER WHILE SHE GAVE BIRTH TO HER SIX PUPPIES. PARC ACCEPTED RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEM ALL AND ARRANGED FOR THEM TO BE VACCINATED AND TREATED FOR PARASITES. WE THEN WORKED HARD TO FIND NEW HOMES FOR THEM. ISLA WAS ADOPTED AND NOW LIVES IN THE POLIS AREA. AS YOU CAN SEE SHE IS A MUCH LOVED LITTLE DOG AND NO LONGER LOOKS A SCRUFFY URCHIN. IN FACT SHE COULD EASILY WIN A BEAUTY COMPETITION FOR DOGS. FOR SURE SHE THINKS SHE HAS DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN. ENJOY YOUR NEW LIFE ISLA WE AT PARC ARE PLEASED TO HAVE PLAYED A PART IN YOUR LIFE AND WISH YOU AND YOUR NEW CARING OWNERS ALL THE BEST FOR THE FUTURE.

another eight puppies.

Yes I did say eight. Parc have just taken responsibility for a mum and eight puppies. They are about four weeks old Beagle x Poodle. Very beautiful. Parc have arranged for them to have their first vaccinations and to be treated for parasites. We will need homes for them in about four weeks time. If you know of anyone who will consider giving a puppy a home then please make contact. PICTURES WILL FOLLOW.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THE LAST COMMENT UNDER THE PUPPY PICTURES BELOW. YES WE HAVE NOW FOUND HOMES FOR 6 PUPPIES AND THEIR MUM. ALL OF THEM HAVE GONE TO BRILLIANT HOMES. SPECIAL THANKS TO ELIZABETH AND HER FAMILY WHO KINDLY FOSTERED THEM FOR THE PAST TWO MONTHS. WITHOUT HER HELP WE COULD NOT HAVE ACHIEVED THIS.
