Market stalls

In addition to caring for all our animals we also have to work very hard to raise money to pay for Veterinary bills and food. Our bills are now in excess of 2000 euros per month and with all the problems with sterling it is not easy. However, we had a very successful night at the Millenium Bar in Coral Bay raising 750 euros (many thanks to the brilliant Matt Edmondson who entertained us). Since then we have had a stall on the market selling goods donated to parc. We have raised about 450 euros over the two days. It is very hard work collecting goods, taking them to market and selling them and we are very grateful to all the volunteers that offered to help. A big welcome to our new volunteers Michelle and Caroline who have just come to live in Peyia and also to Richard and Kay. We always need help with fund raising so we are always pleased to find new supporters.
Our next function will be Burns night in January at Coral King, Coral Bay. This event was great last year so if you want tickets then give us a call. There will be Haggis, Piper, a Toast, splendid meal and Wicked Willie to help us dance the night away. All for 25 euros per person. For more information e mail or call 99961157.
