Dogs to Germany

We are pleased to advise that we are now working with Eve and Barbara who help dogs and puppies find a new home in Germany. Three of our puppies have secured lovely homes and will fly out on Monday. We wish them well.
Obviously there are cost implications which we all try and share ie the new owners, the organisation who export them and the people who are looking for homes. If you would like to support this venture we would appreciate a donation specifically for our Flying Fund.
People may ask why we need to do this. Firstly, there are far too many dogs in Cyprus and no where near enough good homes here. Also, many British are returning to UK and are either unwilling or unable to take their dogs with them. I have just had a referral this week. Some Brits are going back next Wednesday and if a home cannot be found for their dog they are putting her to sleep. She is pregnant so they will be killing her puppies too. She is a well behaved bitch, lived in a family home, housetrained and has no vices. Why kill this lovely dog? I only wish I had the answer. I have found a lovely couple who have agreed to foster her but they can only cope with one puppy so the others would need to be destroyed. I dont know why this is happening I only know it is. We at Parc are working tirelessly with few volunteers, little money, limited foster homes and struggling with endless referrals. Dogs to Germany is very helpful indeed but we do need more support in order to carry on this work. Please please think about sending us a donation. Every euro helps. Many thanks Ruth
